The scrapscapes again were another discovery, now including the garbage off the studio floor. Concerned with getting trampled by my carbon footprint, I thought that there was nothing I couldn not make something out of and so I looked as far as my studio floor for scrap to make the new landscapes. There was something convincing about making beauty out of garbage like remembering to look up from your worktable to notice a beautiful sunset, to recall how fortunate we are, to save the smallest morsel of garbage from the landfill.
